A halo of light on the street
Where we once used to meet
On rendezvous so docile
So docile and discreet
Lamps above us suddenly lit
Crazy laughing crazy running
As we were hurriedly forced to quit
Our rendezvous so docile
And discreet
Below the joyous glow
Of the halo lamplights
On the street
Where we once used to meet.
A halo of light on the street
Where we once used to meet
On rendezvous so docile
So docile and discreet
Lamps above us suddenly lit
Crazy laughing crazy running
As we were hurriedly forced to quit
Our rendezvous so docile
And discreet
Below the joyous glow
Of the halo lamplights
On the street
Where we once used to meet.

Beautiful Poetry
A halo of light on the web
Where the words once used to meet.
Hugs for you
Thank you. It's great to have the attention of a writer I admire.
